This paper focuses on the relationship between Leader-member exchange, job satisfaction, job performance and self-efficacy, through empirical research verifies job satisfaction as a mediator in the relationship between Leader-member exchange and contextual performance, and the second one is self-efficacy playing a moderator role in job satisfation and contextual performance.In a review of the literatures, we prepare the questionnaires and send it out, and finally get 202 effective samples. Using LISREl8.72 and SPSS16.0, we carry out confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and reliability analysis to proving the questionnaire's reliability and validity. After that, we use regression analysis, hierarchical regression methods to analyze the data. We can get the conclusion from this paper, firstly job satisfation's affect to the contextual performance is stonger than to the task performance; secondly job satisfaction play the mediator role between Leader-member exchage and the contextual performance, thirdly self-efficacy is the moderator between job satisfaction and contextual performance, but not the moderator between job satisfaction and task performance.This paper has two contributions, first, it combines the leadership behavior of LMX, the success psychology of self-efficacy and the job sastisfaction and job performance in management field, this can better reflects the comprehensive, which is the management'characteristics; second, the study tests the moderator of self-efficacy through empirical work, we also try to test it's application in the management field.It can provide guidance on the practical management, enterprises should attach importance to the role of job satisfaction, and train staff's self-efficacy is better to enhance performance.
