Study On The Relationship Between Port Clusters's Development And Regional Economic Development

Chinese port has been enjoying its rapid development these years, while the development of port is imbalanced because of the different resource, economy and policy. On the contrary, port could promote the economical development of the city. Hence it draws great consideration to deal with relationships between ports and cities.On the background of the integration and network of international port, Relationship between port and region is extension of relationship between port and city. The dissertation discusses relationship between port's development and regional economic improvement, which port's layout improves regional economy ultimately and regional economy drives port development.Cheklang is one of the most wealthy provinces of China .90 percent of sources and raw materials are transferred from other areas presently, also the water transportation count the 90 percent cargo and material transport volume. On the other hand,the development of the ports occur some problems, which drive us to select the mode and policy of them, in order to achieve prosperousness of regional economy and port. This dissertation introduce the interaction of the port and regional economy at first. After making determine the nature appraisal to port and regional economy, choosing SD method quantitative appraisal fundamentality between port and economy. On the basis of rapid development of regional economy, through altering variable to promote thelogical and well-ordered development of the ports. At the end of this paper, it summarizes a couple of suggestion to the development of ports in Cheklang.
