Study On Development Mechanism And Expansionist Policy Of Scientific School

The importance of science and technology has been growing increasingly along with its rapid development worldwide; in such environment, development of science technology becomes significant. Thus, it is extremely important to establish ranks of scientific researchers as well as scientific schools. It is of great significance to review the history, to summarize and study the formation, the development, and the internal pattern of scientific schools; meanwhile, it helps to strengthen our scientific ability, to reinforce the establishment of academic team, to cultivate academic leaders, to occupy the scientific leading status, to hasten prosperity of countries, and to grow continually.The creative point of the paper is to start up the development of domestic scientific schools by studying foreign typical scientific schools, to find out the existing problems of domestic scientific schools by analyzing the core structure and the growth model of scientific schools, and then to raise the proper strategies. By means of document analysis, case analysis, comparative method, and multiple-cross analysis, the major purpose of this research is to get a better development of domestic scientific school.The thesis has five sections. The first section explains importance and practical meaning of the problems the author researches and introduces the research methods and the research logic in this study. The second section describes concepts, features, classification, and functions of scientific school. The third section introduces formation, development, decadence, and continued development of three typical scientific schools in the history of physical science, reveals the ethos of scientific leaders, the spirit of scientific school, and the importance of the interflow of scientific talents and enlightening inspired message of Chinese scientific school. The fourth part, based on the theoretical research of scientific school, elaborates nuclear structure and growth model, analyzes internal structure of scientific school and shows development mechanism of scientific school. The final section sums up problems we currently have in development process of domestic scientific school including inadequate understanding of academic exchange, lack of academic leaders, deficiency of international communication, and absence of scientific spirits. Finally, the paper puts forward suggestions from political, economic, cultural and scientific school aspects.
