A Study On Confucianism And Modern Corporate Culture Construction

Now the competition of enterprises expresses more and more as cultural competition. In order to winning the competition, our enterprises carries actively on culture construction. We introduced many advanced mamagement thoughts and techniques from abroad, but the practical results were not as what we have expected because they did not really resolve the enterprises'problems. So how to nuture the corporation culture is a very important issue, which is also the main problem this text would like to study.This text uses the corporate culture theories to analyze the present conditions and existing problems in the Chinese corporate culture, pointing out the low competency level of both managers and employees explained part of the problem. The deep reasons lie in that corporate culture construction didn't reconstruct the spiritual principles of the enterprises and didn't draw any intelligence and nutrition from Confucianism. This article tried to refine the classic principles of"benevolence","harmonious","trustworthiness","righteousness","self-restraint","make self-examination"etc. in the traditional Chinese culture, summarized how Confucianism changed the behaviors of managers and employees. The text puts forward the suggestion that modern corporate culture construction should take Confucianism as foundation and make full use of any excellent enterprise management methods and techniques in the world in order to set up corporate culture with Chinese features.This text breaks the limitations of the previous studies which analyzed the relations between Confucianism and corporate culture only from surface. This text explained the reasons why Confucianism lifted person's spirit level, and put forward the concrete methods and measures for making use of Confucianism to set up corporate culture. I wish this paper could provide our enterprise with invaluable advices to construct enterprise culture.
