The Analysis About The Cause And Moving Of The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's Economic Barycenter

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has become the main area of the economic growth in the northern of China. It is necessary to scientificly analyze and summarize the relationship between the economic elements and development of the whole economy, if we want to grasp the opportunity, to optimize the economic structure and to step on the sustainable developing road. The economic barycenter is just the bond which could achieve the goal, could reveal the course of the economic development history and could combine the macro-economic growth and micro- economic change.Based on the basic statistic data, taking empirical analysis, combining some measurement methods, such as qualitative analysis, correlation and regression analysis, and so on, this thesis investigates the relationship between the moving of economic barycenter and the regional economic growth. It completely depicts the evolving path of Inner Mongolia's economy during 1978 and 2006, and analyzes the main causes of the moving of economic barycenter, by analyzing the correlation between the economic growth of the cities in the eastern and western of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the exponent of economic barycenter, and by studying the relationship between the related factors and the moving of economic barycenter. The thesis sums up the principles between the economic growth and economic geographical barycenter , simultaneously, it forecasts the trend of the Inner Mongolia's economic barycenter moving, so that the economic development of the region could be directed in some part from now on.Since the reformation and opening, the economic barycenter has located in the southern part of Xilinguole. And the economic situation which appears just as: developing slower at first and then faster, from eastern to the western part, that made the curve of the economic barycenter wholly appears two trends from eastern part to the western and three stages. Especially after the year of 2000, the rapid development of "Hohhot Baotou and Erdos" has made the economic gravity point, substantially move westward. Durning 6 years, the barycenter has moved as it did in 22years, which mainly resulted in the investment of capital and the accession of employment.It could forecast that the economic barycenter of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will move westward in short term, and the extent will be increasingly large; but in long term, the cities in the eastern part will also be likely to once again become the dynamic power source of the economic development of Inner Mongolia, and the direction of the movement will be decided by the comparative state of the economic strength among the cities. From the viewpoint of industries upgrading and the principles of the economic development, whether the essence of economic development could be grasped and the regional advantages and sustainable development could be united, will be the key to that whether the future economic strength could be fully taken use of. What kind of sustainable developing road the eastern cities will step on, and what the coordinated sustainable setup will look like, will both decide the evolution direction of Inner Mongolia economic barycenter.
