Brand-effect has become a hot question in the modern clothing area. Behind every fashion brand there is a certain connotation of the national culture. It guides the direction of the development of apparel brands and market positioning and so on. There is a great relationship between the quality of the fashion brand and the connotation of the national culture.The main contributions of the thesis are as follows:Firstly, the definitions with related to the topic and the connotations of fashion brand are explained. From theory, the importance that the culture of fashion brand constitutes nation culture is analysed.Secondly, from the clothing brand cultural connotations, clothing brand positioning, clothing brand design, clothing brand image and the establishment of clothing brand and the spreading of the clothing brand, we analyse the importance role of national culture in the creation of clothing brand. The important roles are exemplified by the creation of famous clothing brand.Finally, in accordance with the development of China's clothing brand status, combined with the costumes of China's 5,000 years of culture and the culture of ethnic minority costumes, the development of China's domestic clothing brand is investigated further and thinking of how to develop China's local culture and how to create the world's well-known Chinese clothing brands.
