Study Of Yunnan Small Hydropower Development Strategy

Along the established of"Renewable energy law", small hydropower as Green resources gets more and more attention by the international community. In China, small hydropower refers to the hydropower station that the capacity below 50MW,following the 1980s, China has been made a large achievement in the using of Hydropower, at present, small hydropower occupies about 30% in all hydropower resources of China.The small hydropower resource of Yunnan is very rich, ranking second in the country, because the limitation of economic development and geographical conditions, the development of the actual rate has been very low. This paper mainly discusses the advantage, the present situation of development, the main problems of Yunnan small hydropower. From 7 aspects studies the construction period and from 3 aspects studies the operation period of Yunnan small hydropower.
