A Empirical Study Of Trust In Chinese Family Firm

Abstract/Summary:
After more than 20 years rapidly expands, the family firm has become one of the important economy parts in our country and its quantity and scale have been expanding. Researchers discover that distrust existing in family firm has become bottleneck for its development in our country, which mainly exist in management resource anatomizing and clan doctrine trust.Base on theory of trust and Chinese family firm, the author takes the type of family firm, which is just growing from roughly primitive capital accumulation to intensively scientific management, as a study object, and aim at what are influencing factor to trust in the family firm. The author has analyzed the trust problem from different aspect and conclude that understanding, position, accept feeling, interactive, knowledge, faithful (ability, behavior), information, system, guanxi etc have are the major factor to trust building. And then, the author assumes that there must be relation between these factors and trust.Since there is not having an authoritative investigation to society capital such as trust, society morality grades at present, the author adopt the questionnaire-inquire to get the first date at first, then apply professional software (SPSS14.0) to analyze the date, and build mathematic model to ascertain what relations exist between the factors and the trust. The study reaches the following conclusions: (1) After the fist time regression analysis, the author find that there exist obviously relations between the above factors and the trust. Thereby, the hypothesis built previously is verified. (2) Since the return equation is not notable to indicate effect degree of every factor to trust and author discover that there is very high correlativity between these factors. The author adopts the principal component analysis to get the four main notable factors: environment factor, individual factor, information exchanging factor and mentality factor. (3) The author has got rid of one mentality factor in the process of steps regression analysis, which isn't notable. This result is considered rational in this article. Finally, the author proposed the suggestion to improve the Chinese family firm trust. This article summarizes the influence factors to trust in Chinese family firm, and try building the relation model between them. The author hopes this article can give some help to the further study in the field.
