| With the start of knowledge economy, more importance has been given to knowledge-oriented staff motivation. Whereas the knowledge-oriented staff concerns more about self-development and individualized needs, only when well understanding and respect should be given to them and effective measures should be taken, could their creative enthusiasm be truly motivated and the mutual development of both the organization and the knowledge-oriented staff could be better improved.In recent years, Jinan Steel Group Co. Ltd has given great importance to knowledge-oriented staff motivation and has done some beneficial research and practice. However, some problems still exist in this respect, with view to which, this paper aims to propose some suggestions to perfect the knowledge-oriented staff motivation system of Jinan Steel Group Co. Ltd, based on many years of the writer's management practice and integrated with the research done by Jinan Steel Group Co. Ltd.This paper briefly introduces some related motivation theory, sums up the knowledge-oriented staff motivation factors research situation, and based on the former research achievements, constructs "Four-in-One" knowledge-oriented staff motivation factor index system, concluding salary motivation, work motivation, development motivation and environment motivation, and also designs related questionnaire. Through on-site visits and questionnaire, first hand materials have been obtained on the motivation preferences of knowledge-oriented staff in Jinan Steel Group Co. Ltd, and the questions concerning the knowledge-oriented staff motivation has been analyzed. Finally, according to the practicality of Jinan Steel Co. Ltd, basic principles of knowledge-oriented staff motivation are discussed and related motivation strategies and measures are proposed. |
