Research On The Development Of Travelsky Dominant Business

Before 2001, in order to support the negotiation of China entering WTO, CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) promised to open two fields which are the maintenance service of air craft and the computer reservation system service. In the aspect of computer reservation system, China promised to open international reservation service. After China entered WTO, the above-mentioned promises took effect. In the past 20 years, the reform and open of China Civil Aviation has made the civil aviation in the above-mentioned fields open widely. In the aspect of computer reservation system, the system of TravelSky Technology Limited (used to be China Civil Aviation Computer Information Center, hereinafter shorten as TravelSky) has implemented network with more than 10 main computer reservation systems in the world. As the unique enterprise of computer reservation system of China Civil Aviation and service provider of relevant civil aviation information, TravelSky has more and more pressure while competing with international enterprises of the same trade at present. It is a new task for TravelSky how to enhance the whole competing ability through developing the dominant business.This paper focuses on the development of TravelSky dominant business. First, it gives summarization of the core competing ability theory, the monism and the pluralism, and make the key visual angle of researching on the dominant business clear. Under the direction of theory, the paper analyzes TravelSky financial affairs in the past few years, the existing internal resources, the main reason of developing dominant business and the newest developing status of the competitor and summarizes the urgent problems need to be solved in the development of dominant business. After that, this paper provides some feasible countermeasures in the aspect of increasing technical input and qualified personnel training, strengthening the construction of enterprise culture, improving the self-innovation ability deeply and carrying out international communication and cooperation actively by viewing the developing current of international aviation market, based on the present status of the enterprise, and combining with the writer's years of working experience in this industry. The research result provides new visual angle and way for the development of TravelSky dominant business.TravelSky is unique in China and its character is special industrial application system. The writer analyzes the problems that TravelSky faces during the development of dominant business and finds the right thought and way adapt to the development, thereby brings some new ways on solving how to improve the whole competing ability of TravelSky in the field of international aviation information.
