Advertisement market is divided, and new advertisement media rise up. Mobile, which is the tool for voice communications, could be used to search for information for people because of its information containing and network support and its advertisement values appear. Some people look mobile ad as beast and some people look it as a gold mine. The paper will reasoningly puts mobile ad into context of new media development and analyses mobile ad in the round on the base of mobile characteristics. The paper has five parts. Chapter one describes the definition, types and characteristics of mobile ad. On the base of data, the situation of mobile ad in China will be discussed in chapter two, including the information receiver, technology, the line of mobile ad industry and the operation mode. In next chapter, the most important part, the paper will sum up the questions faced by mobile ad, such as supervision, marketing, and creativity, and then gives advice. Finally, the development trend of mobile ad will be expected in the last chapter.
