Study On The Countermeasure Of Increasing Maize Industry Competition Ability In Jilin Province

China is one of the main maize-producing countries in the world. Jilin province is both the important maize-producing base and the main maize-export province in our country. The prosperity and decline of the maize industry in Jilin will be influence on its economy situation. In recent years, a lot of new contradictions and new problems have appeared in the maize-production with the agriculture industrial structure adjustment in Jilin, which is worth exploring and studying.With the agricultural structure adjustment, partial grain fields have been reduced, which makes the struggle for more land between the grain crops, especially between planting maize land and planting industrial crops land. And much cultivated land is took up by industry development, which causes the maize-plant to be face with a new challenge. There is perfect maize-processing industrial base in Jilin, and the animal husbandry has much developed during these years in Jilin, which leads to maize-produce can't suffice the demands of Jilin economy development deeply. The reason is that there should be a systematically strategic plan and efficient operation way in the process of transforming maize industry and taking it as raw materials. Therefore, as the vital commodity grain base in China, we should readjust the thought of Jilin maize industry development from macro-economical angle of view. And we should confirm strategic development pattern in Jilin maize industry in order to insure Jinlin maize industry keep a preponderant position in the market competition.At the same time, the competition of the market actually is the competition of the products. Only improving the competition ability of the products, the economy could be developed quickly and continuously. Increasing competitiveness of Jilin maize industrial can speed up its maize economy development, and promote the comprehensive construction of well-off society and the harmonious society in an all-round way.On the basis of reading a large amount of relevant materials and collecting mass data, this paper took the comparative advantage theory, the industrial structure theory, the industrial organization theory, and other related theories as its theoretical foundation. And the author analyzed out a real example on the maize, soybean, rice among the main crops in Jilin Province. Meanwhile, the author analyzed the change situation of the comparative advantage, the advantage situation of maize-processing industry, and the transforming advantage of animal husbandry among domestic different maize-planting areas which were Jilin, Hei longjiang, Hebei and Shandong Province. Moreover, according to the present situation on maize-industry development in Jilin, the paper had also analyzed the comparative disadvantage or advantage of the maize industry. Finally, the author put forward countermeasures on how to improve maize industry competition ability in Jilin.
