Study On Auto-part Industry Competitiveness Of Hubei Province

Auto-part industry is one of the most important sections in the automobile industry of Hubei province.Its development not only has a great impact on the enterprises in this industry,but also influences the auto industry which is the pillar industry of the economy.Now,besides Hubei,Jilin,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong all have shown stronger strengths in auto-part industry in national economy.Through the comparison of competitiveness,the advantages and disadvantages of Hubei province can be known clearly,and the ways to narrow the gap between Hubei and other provinces can be found,so as to consolidate and expand the strengths of Hubei province.Based on the extensive investigation,material and data,the thesis sets up the index system.In the light of industrial present competitiveness,industrial potential competitiveness and industrial environmental competitiveness,the index system is established finally using combination of intensive factors and extensive factors, static factors and dynamic factors.Speaking exactly,it is consisted of 18 third-rank indexes which can be gained by the evaluation or calculations,6 second-rank indexes and 3 first-rank indexes.Firstly,the proportion of the indexes is determined by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process.Secondly through inputting the processed original data,the quantitative results of the competitiveness of auto-part industry in these 6 regions have been revealed by the comprehensive evaluation.Finally,the top list of competitiveness'is confirmed.According to these results,the problems which exist in the process of Hubei auto-part industry development have been found:the non- innovation of core technology,the separation of regional market and immature collaborative mode of industrial chain,the weakness of independent brand.The measurements have been put forward on the basis of the existing problems and present situation.They are optimized scale strategy,independent development strategy based on technology innovation,brand operation strategy.The thesis analyzes the present situation and existing problems of Hubei auto-part industry systematically and puts forward related solutions.The author hope that it will be helpful to the related enterprises and governrnent when they make decisions and strategies.
