England is the first country who realized the industrialization under the sun. And it is also the first one who got away from Malthus Crisis by industrialization.England has created a miracle that population grew in pace with Per capita income. The focus of the research is to answer the following two questions : how did England realize the growth rate of GDP and what strategies were employed in order to escape Malthus Crisis and What are the typical characteristics of increase in industrial society and agricultural society during the 801 years between 1000—1801 A.D. The core theory adopted in this article is the worldwide popular theory of GDP calculation nowadays: GDP growth rate = Population growth rate + growth rate of per capita. Through the research on the labor productivity, we discover that the economic increase in England was caused by the great importance attached to non-agricultural industry. Specifically speaking, the investment in the new industries such as sheep husbandry and wool manufacture industry keep the growth rate of England in highly profitable industries. We use quantitative data to illustrate and study the traits of economic growth of agriculture society and industrial society, including the differences between them. The growth of GDP in agriculture society was mainly promoted by the growth of population. This kind of growth is decided by the land productivity. When the land productivity come to the utmost limit, the growth of population must be affected. The two core agents of production of the economic growth of agriculture society are population and land. In agriculture society, the economic growth mainly because of the growth of GDP. However, in the industrial society, the economic growth is promoted by the growth of GDP per capita. Because of the adjustment in industrial structures, England was succeed in escaping from the Malthus Crisis and realizing the industrialisation. Consequently, the economic growth in England can keep on.
