The metallurgy projects involve the huge amount of investments which include human resources, material resources and capital. It has the complex character of manpower arrangement, material distribution, and capital cycling. During the implementation period, it is even more important. If the managing person can not recognize the facing problems, there will be negative effects for the whole project progress. Based on these mentioned points, if the project exists potential risks, the demand for the ability of risk control for the managing person will be much higher. Since the projects will be implemented in the complex natural and social situations, the risk control is affected by numerical of ingredients. If the concerned uncertain ingredients are massive, the facing risk will be more, the accompanied lost could be huge.This article draws the main frame of the concept of metallurgy projects, the background of article research, and recognizes the concept of risk control. It distinguishes the concepts of project risk control and project management, mainly expatiates the relationship and differences between them. Expanding from the project risk management to the management strategies of risk reorganization of risks, risk forecasting and risk treatments of metallurgy projects, this article provides the detailed expatiation for the metallurgy projects and related operable suggestions. In the last part, it specifies the risk control and research of management for metallurgy projects through the real samples. All the suggestions appearing in this article has been practicably approved by the real operations. Through one sample research, the risk control is mainly appeared in the areas of project implementation and management of qualities. By this strategy, the risk will be reduced; the project progress will be under well control, the significance is positive.
