Research On The Development Of Current Situation Of Livestock Husbandry In Xuzhou

Xuzhou is a big city of livestock husbandry. In 2006,the proportion of output value of Xuzhou's livestock husbandry to agricultural gross output value is about 30%. Livestock husbandry plays an important role in the development of agriculture and the standard of living of farmer. The evidence of livestock husbandry transformation is arising in recent years. Xuzhou must accommodate itself to the environment and keep up with the development of Jiangsu and other parts of China.This paper follows the research methods of the normative analysis and positive Analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, static analysis and active Analysis. The paper is made up of seven parts as follows, Chapterâ…¡is about the foundations of this paper. This is based on the theory as follows, the industry structure, the industry layout, the industrialization of agriculture and the the theory of competitive advantages.First of all, this paper thinks that the development is at high-speed in recent years after reviewing the development status of animal husbandry in Xuzhou within these 20 years. After studying the data of Xuzhou, this paper analyses the overall level, internal structure, the problems of development, the advantage and disadvantage.Secondly, this paper researches the competitive advantages of livestock husbandry in Xuzhou, based on the diamond model from the theory of competitive advantages. The competitive advantages can be studied in three aspects, competitive potential, competitive strength and competitive outstanding achievement. The competitive potential includes resource, requirement and correlative industry. The competitive strength is based on the cost, the price, the quality and marketing. The competitive outstanding achievement is embodied in the payoff. The conclusion of this chapter is that the livestock husbandry of Xuzhou has advantages with something to be further developed.And then, this paper studies on the problem of livestock husbandry in Xuzhou. This paper analyses the problems from six sides, macroscopic view, the government, the enterprise, the farmer, the environment and the quality. All of these problems will slow down the development of livestock husbandry if they have not be treated in the right way.The important assignment of livestock husbandry development in Xuzhou is put forwarded, which includes ten aspects, such as formulating the developing program of animal husbandry, regulating and optimizing the industrial structure of animal husbandry, making great efforts to construct the demonstrated district and base, strengthening the quality security construction of livestock products, protecting the local breeds, advancing the construction of the ecological animal husbandry and the brand animal husbandry, strengthening the construction of the scientific service system and industry association, promoting the prevention and control of severe animal disease; in the development of the policies and measures, five aspects are raised, such as advancing industrial management, constructing modern livestock industry system, increasing the policy of supporting animal husbandry and the strength of inviting external investment, transforming the government function, increasing the service ability and level. All of these methods can solve the problem in Chapterâ…¤and can insure the development of livestock husbandry in Xuzhou.
