Theory Study Of CNPC's Corporate Responsibility

In recent years, with the development of global economy and information technology, international corporates adjusted their stratagem, structure and theory. At the same time to adjust their stratagem and structure (including management and cultivating structure), the international corporates strengthened its corporate responsibility, or paid much attention to its corporate social responsibility.Now there isn't common international definition about corporate social responsibility. Normally corporate social responsibility means not only the corporates create profit and be responsible for its shareholders, but also bear the responsibility to their employees, constomers, community and environment, including following business morality, production safety, professional health, protecting labor's legal rights and interests, protecting the environment, supporting charity, endowing for social commonweal, protecting weaker colony etc.All big corporates tried their best to change their shape by burden more corporate social responsibility. Corporate social responsibility is becoming the drive for the corporates to pay much attention to continuous development management process. The main features of the process is to consider much about society and environment. In fact, many famous corporates paid much attention to their corporate social responsibility. By reviewing the successful experience of the big corporates, we found that all these corporates not only owns advanced technology and successful development statagem, but also mastered the best corporate responsibility theory.CNPC has formed its own special corporation culture. In 2004, Petrochina proposed its corporation tenet, that is to devote energy and create harmoniousness. At the same time, Petrochina also proposed its corporation spirit and main management theory. Its corporation spirit is patriotism, carving out, pursuing the fact, devotion and its main management theory is reputation, creativeness, outstanding achievement, harmoniousness and safety. All the tenet, spirit and theory summarizes CNPC's assignment, shows corporate social responsibility and political ambition. Its management theory system is perfect. But, in order to meet the requirement of internationalization, we should make clear the frame of corporate responsibility system and the meaning of corporate responsibility. The article concluded related revelation and experience from many famous corporates and analyzing the current situation of corporate responsibility. By summarizing the development of CNPC in recent years, with the basic corporate responsibility theory, the author proposed countermeasure and suggestion for the further development of CNPC.
