Research On The Ralationship Between Regional Advantage And Industrial Development

A country or region to achieve a qualitative economic development,we must optimize the industrial structure;the starting point is to re-evaluate and optimizes the industrial structure from the perspective of Regional advantages.Regional advantages are various favorable conditions which promote production and the development of the productive sector on the basis of regional differences,including natural resources, economic factors,and regional location of the space economic ties,cultural tradition of optimizing the economic capacity,regional competitiveness,Policies and other factors.During economic development,constructing industrial clusters on the basis of a study of the region by the regional advantages and effective play to regional advantages can play a multiplier effect.In this paper,Weihai City as an example to analyze the regional advantages and industrial relations,in order to carry out a harmonious development based on the present conditions of the regional advantages and industrial structure and putting forward some suggestions of how to optimize industrial structure.In this thesis the author employs the following research steps:"present research of regional advantages"——"present research of industrial structure"——"present research of the relationship between regional advantage and industrial development"——"the industrial structure adjustment under regional advantages".On the foundation of the qualitative analysis,use of Factor Analysis of statistics,analyzes the present industrial structure in Weihai,and study the similarities and differences between the current leading industries and due leading industries under regional advantages,and analysis of the reasons.On this basis,bring forward the direction of the industrial structure adjustment in Weihai.Through empirical analysis,the paper concluded that:the industrial structure of Weihai tends reasonable:food processing,electronics and information industry, tourism put regional advantages to the best use,but the lack of development, industrial structure need for further adjustments.Generally speaking,Weihai now is in the phase of middle industrialization,with an industrial structure featuring "second-third-first".Compared with other economic developed cities in China,the first industry occupies a large proportions,the third industry is lagging far behind. The first industry needs to emphasize the marine economy,especially the fishery economy.The second industry needs to push forward the strategic adjustment of manufacturing structure in order to comply with the economic tendency of Jiaodong Peninsula Base of Manufacturing Industry;The third industry needs to develop special tourism and modern transportation,so as to the industrial structure change to a "third-second-first" industry model.
