| Schedule management is a critical procedure in project management, and effective schedule plan makes project management more efficient. How to achieve that is a problem researched by scholars all over the world. It is necessary to improve current schedule planning method in order to make the schedule management more efficient in a practically running project. The main research results of this paper are as follows:Firstly, the situation of our country's construction industry is synthetically reviewed. The difference between domestic construction industry and foreign construction industry is analyzed, and it is indicated that Lean Construction has significant meaning to our construction industry.Secondly, the origin and development of Lean Construction are summarized. The critical thinking and methodology are analyzed, which sets the premises for execution of lean construction.Thirdly, based on the latest research result, the important tool of Lean Construction-Last Planner method is introduced, and compared with traditional planning system. The real-time plan and control method invented by foreign scholars is improved in this paper.Fourthly, Critical Chain Scheduling, known as a breakthrough in the field of project management, is briefed. The underlying assumptions and fundamentals of Critical Chain Scheduling are thoroughly analyzed and the merits and pitfalls are demonstrated, so as to effectively and rationally apply this potential scheduling method into the engineering project management.Fifthly, inspired by pull and push plans, Last Planner method and Critical Chain Scheduling, the two of leading management methods are combined. Drawbacks and limitations are reduced, and merits are developed. Finally, based on lean construction, Critical Chain Scheduling method is developed and a model of project schedule risk estimation is established. In the example calculation, developed Critical Chain Scheduling method with Monte Carlo simulation is compared with traditional Critical Path Method and PERT. The results of calculation prove the developed critical chain scheduling method effective and rational. |
