Analyzing The Recent Status Of Regional Economic Disparities And Impact Factors In Jiangsu Province

Since reform and opening up, China's regional economic disparities has broaden a lot, as one of the developed eastern coastal provinces, the situation of regional economic disparities in Jiangsu province is a epitome of China's overall regional economic disparities. Therefore, the study of regional economic disparities in Jiangsu Province is useful to understand the Jiangsu Minister of Economic Development and the advantages of weak links, and to formulate and implement a regional joint development strategy to enhance the overall strength of the province's economy, and promoting the coordinated development of the province's economy as well as the nation's regional economic research. In this paper, on the basis of the condition of Jiangsu's regional economic disparities, through the creation of panel data model analysis of the impact factors of regional economic disparities, and in a targeted manner proposed mitigation measures, the promotion of Jiangsu Province coordinated regional economic development and further improve the province's overall level of economic development is of great significance.First, Make a review on domestic and foreign non-balanced regional development theory, and the issues on the origin, history, current situation of regional economic disparities in Jiangsu Province, so as to provide a theoretical and method support for this paper.Second, Make empirical analysis on the changing trend of GDP in per capita between different regions in Jiangsu Province with constant price.Third, Using Theil-index to decompose the regional disparities into three regions and inter-region parts, made a conclusion that the resource of regional disparities in Jiangsu mainly come from the three major regions, and the disparities within sunan and subei are increasing recently because of the fast growing of some cities,though the proportion is still small.Fourth, Establish panel-data model to make influencing factor analysis of the economic gap in Jiangsu Province. Summarize the impact factors of the regional economic development. Through the model analysis of the specific forms and methods of selection, the various factors on the regional economic development of Jiangsu Province the overall impact, as well as the three major regional factors on the impact made a comprehensive comparative analysis. The studies on three major areas show that the impact of these factors is different both on the intensity and direction. Fifth, in view of the existing problems, put forward some specific solutions on how to constrain these disparities so as to make coordinated development of all the cities in Jiangsu.
