Research On Promoting Tourism Competitiveness Of Fujian Province In The Context Of Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Tourism Cooperation

Regional tourism cooperation has always been the focus of the academic attention, many scholars put forward on the international or domestic regional tourism cooperation to a new perspective every year. On the other hand, there are many scholars showing strong concern on the competitiveness of the regional tourism. Firstly , Based on the previous the study of regional tourism cooperation, and combined with the regional tourism competing situation, this paper used relevant theories and methods to do correlation analysis of the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation in tourism , which included the theory of competitive advantage, regional economics, tourism competitiveness and the other theories and methods. Then, the paper focused on the analyzing the situation of the Fujian Provincial Tourism's competitiveness. Along with the implementation of "Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone" strategy and " the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits" strategy, the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation in tourism has become a hot point. Based on the Pan-PRD regional cooperation in tourism, the paper analyzed Fujian' status and role in the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation, and through such analysis to position itself in the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional tourism competitiveness, then to put forward the methods to enhancing its competitiveness.In this paper, the focus of the study as following:Firstly, discussing the basic theories about regional tourism competitiveness y, included the domestic and overseas. Secondly, analysis the current situation of Fujian Provincial Tourism competitiveness, including the status quo, problems and prospects; Thirdly, studying the advantages and disadvantages of the Pan-PRD regional cooperation in tourism, as well as the status and role of Fujian in Pan-Pearl River Delta region; Fourthly, analyzing the competitiveness-modes of Fujian Province and other provinces in the Pan-Pearl River Delta region;Fifthly, using AHP, modified entropy technology to do quantitative analysis of the competitiveness through the establishment of rational, scientific target system within the Pan-PRD region of the nine provinces, as well as Hong Kong and Macao.Finally, putting forward the countermeasures to enhancing Fujian's competitiveness of the tourism, according to the results of quantitative analysis; With the purpose of exploring the ways to upgrade Fujian's tourism competitiveness under the context of the "Pan-Pearl River Delta" Regional cooperation in tourism, this paper will not only expand the regional tourism competitive space, but also further improve the theory of tourism competitiveness for providing the references to enhancing the competitiveness of other regions' tourism , and provide decision-making information of promoting the development progress of the tourism industry throughout the entire region.
