Internet has brought the unprecedented change for ours life and the work. The electronic commerce appearance enormously changed the social economy movement pattern, and simultaneously it is also unceasingly creating the new social value. The fund flows processing is the important link of the electronic commerce. The traditional payment way merit is that people feel familiar and safe, but the shortcoming is low efficiency, which loses the original character of electronic commerce - quick. The electronic commerce fund transference is mainly realized by online payment and settlement. Online payment is a important part of electronic commerce. And using online payment is the key link, which can lead electronic commerce towards success. But because of the credit and security problem, it actually becomes one of the bottlenecks for our electronic commerce development. But the third party payment provides a feasible way to realize the online payment.It should say that, the promulgation of "the Electronic Payment Direction(First)" by the central People's Bank on October 26, 2005, greatly promoted the third party payment vigorous development. The appearance and the development of third party payment has solved the bottleneck of electronic commerce- the credit and security problems of online payment, and it act as the credit link between the business and customer, as the connection of the banks and each trade party. It also eliminates the customer's misgiving to business, and provides a convenient, quick and simple payment mode, which awfully promotes the development of electronic commerce.IResearch issued the newest research report . According to the newest data in it, we can found that the market trade value of the third party payment achieved 21,000,000,000 Yuan, which increased 31.3% than last quarter, and increased nearly three times than the same period in last year. Although the marketing of online payment in China are now facing many problems, such as profit, government policy, competition, pressure and risk, the development tendency is still swift and violent IResearch estimates that, in 2007 the third party trade value in China marketing is probably break through the amount of 100,000,000,000 Yuan.We can notice that, in our company the third party payment is developing with the fast development of electronic commerce. However, on the other hand we cannot ignore the problems on the road of development of the third party payment in China, such as the legal capacity, security risk, vicious competition and so on. This article expatiates on the third party payment divided five parts. The first part is to introduce the fundamental conception of the third party payment. The second part is to introduce the development status of the third party payment in China. The third part is to analyze the existent risks of the third party payment. The forth part is to introduce the management experiences of the foreign third party payment companies. The last part is to make analysis and researches for the existent problems faced by the third party payment and give some advices in personal opinion.The writer of this article is a finance manager of a third party payment company, which was set up early in third party payment field in China. I pays much attention to the third party payment because of work relations. Now I am a graduate student in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, major in project management. Here 1 give my opinions about the management and risk control for the third party payment company. I make some systematic analysis for the third party payment by using some methods in project management theory, and give some viewpoints for your discuss and advices. Of cause, because the third party payment is still a fresh thing, and is still in high development period. It has not much materials in this field. This article is only to discuss in the aspects of management and risk control, not involving other aspects such as marketing and so on. Otherwise, because of the limit of time and capability, this article may has many shortcomings in the analysis and research of the third party payment.
