Internet quickened a transition from large-scale market to market segments, which means the marketing mode has transited from the traditional large-scale homogenous one to the concentrated personalized one. The enterprise size is no longer the determinant factor when small lot production, aims to small group of clients, has been growing rapidly. Internet makes up a globally virtual market, and therefore generates the e-marketing. E-marketing as a unique marketing mode, on the basis of Internet with the benefit of Internet properties, is a marketing means to an end and an important part of whole marketing strategy. By nature, it is a kind of marketing activity using Internet as the sales tools and means. The minor enterprises with the import & export authorization are more urgent and active in want of e-marketing because of the globalization and complexity of their products sales and client relations. E-marketing broadens the export trading channels of the enterprise, breaks the regional limitation, and greatly improves the chance of export trading. Because the globalized competition is becoming more and more fierce, the minor enterprises, in order to keep advantage in competition, must depend on the advanced technology, and make some fundamental changes based on the traditional marketing ways such as type of organization, management mode, operating procedure, and marketing idea. In this new information age, the minor enterprises can start some marketing activities with the help of special products and services.Currently, there are five methods of foreign trade e-marketing that can be adopted by our minor enterprises, and they are as follows: search engine marketing, B2B e-commerce platforms, industry platforms, network yellow pages, and permission based email marketing. But because of a lot of problems existed in the practicing process of those marketing ways, the enterprises can not succeed in the final e-marketing. So, there are some problems that our enterprises need to solve about starting e-marketing. First, our enterprises don't know enough about sale promotion methods of e-marketing and excessively depend on B2B platform and the channel to e-marketing is few. Second, they are not familiar with the implementary principles of e-marketing, which results in the practice mistakes. Third, they lack understanding about the current situations of e-marketing, especially some limited factors, which leads to the failure of e-marketing activities. As a result, our minor enterprises should find out the problems from themselves and solve them positively, and they will finally succeed in this information age.
