The Study On The Development Of Regional Economic Center In Rural Areas

In today's China, it is vital significance to explore the development of economic center in rural areas, because the research not only helps to promote economy in rural areas, but also sets the stage for perfecting public services there such as transportation, water supply, heating and pollution improvement etc. Rural economic development center is now the transportation heart for operating and developing rural commodity economy, as well as the intermediate carrier and material foundation for rural industrialization and urbanization. Under such circumstances, Economic center is, so to speak, the fresh starter and propeller to accelerate rural economy. Therefore, it has become a crucial factor in solving the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers.Tianhe District is a typical rural region, located in the outskirt of north Wuhan and bounded by Xiaogan. Tianhe Subdistrict, as its heart, plays a key role in economic development and stable life in the hinterland.The thesis uses five chapters to complete the study on the development of regional economic center in rural areas, a topic putting more emphasis on whether or not such an economic system could satisfy reality needs in a specific range such as manufacture, life, and education and so on in this area. At last, some feasible suggestions will be put forward to fit the local economic development.In Chapter One, the definition and features of regional economic center in rural areas will be firstly explained and described; and then, the investigation about the historical and current situation in Tianhe Subdistrict will be carried out. Next, the effect and influence of such an investigation on the regional economy in this area will be analyzed.In Chapter Two applies economic tools, such as multiplier effect and input-output model and so on, to deeply analyze the economic effects in Tianhe Subdistrict, and to research into the changes in economic aggregate as well as radiation effects on the hinterland.In Chapter Three gives a brief analysis of regional economic center in rural areas from four perspectives: circulation, industry, life and ecology. Moreover, what is the best choice to build and develop Tianhe Sundistrict will be discussed and explored.In Chapter Four, the factors influencing the location of regional economic center in rural areas will be analyzed in detail from three aspects: the overall environment; market structure; systems of government. Later, a general equilibrium model which promotes a durable, stable and orderly development of the economic system will be proposed.In the end of the thesis, the advantages and disadvantages of Tianhe Subdistrict as a rural regional economic center will be analyzed respectively. At the same time, consulting the city layout and relevant policy to build an aviation economic region, the thesis comes up with a series of prescriptions and suggestions to optimize the development of Tianhe Subdistrict in the future.
