Assessment Of The Urban Financial Competitiveness Of Jilin Province

The paper takes all the cities above prefectural level of Jilin province as sample, unifies the actual situation of Jilin province, and establishes the appraisal target system. On the basis of collecting and coordinating to the data of all cities from 2001 to 2006, we analyze the urban financial competitive power of all the cities, to seeing about the situations of the urban financial competitive power in different cities, to inspects the superiority and the inferiority in the urban financial competitive power, to analyze the rank of the urban financial competitive power. With this understanding, we discuss different city financial development strategies in order to build the financial radiate system, to promote Jilin economy developing better and faster.According to the measurement in the report of China city competitive power written by Doctor Pengfei Ni, unifies the actual situation of Jilin province, this paper divides urban financial competitive power appraisal index system into finance demonstration index and explanation index. The explanation index is divided into the four aspects of economic competitive force, science and technology competitive force, open competitive force, facility competitive force. It explains urban financial competitive force from five respects. This paper mainly uses the factor analytic method to analyze each competitive force. Taking the score points of financial demonstration competitive power as the variable, the text carries on the cluster analysis, afterwards carries on the qualitative analysis, draw the related conclusion. From the result of the analysis of the urban financial competitive power, I think Changchun has the strongest urban financial competitive power. Jilin and Yanbian are the secondary financial centers, which can receive the financial radicalization from Changchun, and also can bring alone and radiate the other cities around them. Finally, we can build an integrated financial radiate system. But, there are lots of works we have to do, because the other five cities located at the verge of our province and the financial radicalization system of Jilin province is not very developed. We should strength the urban financial competitive power of Tonghua, in order to make Tonghua become the secondary financial center to radiate the other cities in the west.
