Listed company is the cornerstone of stock market. At present, indexes for evaluating performance of the listed companies are ratio of net asset earnings, earnings per share, net asset per share. Not enough attention is focused on the income quality. This makes many listed companies to control their book earnings and disorder the stock market. The writer considers that we should attach great importance to income quality besides previous index in order to evaluate performance of the listed companies in a greater extent.This text is divided into totally six parts. The first part is introduction. In this part, the author gives the problems needing to study, descript the research status at home and aboard and introduce the study content and study methods. The second part is the overview of the income quality. Based on the define of basic related concept, writer tells of the meaning of income quality and the five features of income quality: authenticity, stability, growth, cash protection and security. The third part is the factors affecting and analysis methods of the income quality. Writer analyzes the controllable factors and uncontrollable factors affecting income quality of listed company. At the same time, author thinks that analyzing income quality of listed company needs start from two sides: qualitative and quantitative. The quantitative analysis is based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The part four is case analysis of income quality of listed company. The part five tells of some advice of improving the income quality of listed company. Effective ways helping listed company to improve income quality are given from macro management and listed company itself. In the last part of this paper, the writer summarizes the important opinions, puts forward the limitations of the paper and makes out the next step.
