The Study Of Mountain-type Resort's Sustainable Development

Mountain-type resort has become a magnet for tourism because of its high tourist value. The growing tourists have made the pressure of its resource protection become larger and larger. With the rapidly development of tourist industry, visitor's requirements for mountain-type resort's management level, service level, and production level are improving gradually, they are not satisfied with the coarse service and the traditional production, they require mountain-type resort to develop its management and service level, to have new production. In recent years, there are many clicks between the mountain-type resort and its community, and the problems of the management system have become apparent. These problems have restrained the development of mountain-type resort. So it is high time to discuss mountain-type resort's sustainable development.There are a lot of papers to study mountain-type resort's sustainable development recently, but the majority papers have studied certain mountains like Lushan Mountain or others, they have not summarized the common characteristics and strategies to solve the problems. Most of them focus on the protection and sustainable use of resource, few study the others like management, service, production and the stakeholders. This dissertation thinks that mountain-type resort's sustainable development include not only the resource, but also the stakeholders especially the important stakeholders like the managers and executors, the community inhabitants, the local government. Their manage level, service level, and resource protection level strongly influence mountain-type resort's sustainable development.This dissertation combines theory with practice, study the characteristics of mountain-type resort, the problems and strategies of its sustainable development. First, it describes the connected theories, such as the theory of sustainable development, the theory of stakeholders, the theory of community. Second, it summarizes the characteristics of mountain-type resort. Third, it analyses the problems which influence mountain-type resort's sustainable development. Finally it puts forward several strategies to solve these problems. In conclusion, it analyses the specific example—Huashan Mountain.
