The bank is facing with tremendous pressure and challenges now. We must focus on client segmentation, identify customers'needs effectively and provide customers with difference services in the face of competition and challenges. This paper introduces the general concept of client segmentation, analyzes customers of Baoding branch bank of China exactly, and then points out it is necessary to segment the bank in the environment of market competitive. Firstly, based on realizing customers'basic information, we use the statistical software SPSS to classify clients, and then we get a decision tree by C4.5 of data mining and obtain 17 rules. At last, this paper expatiates the necessity for customers'difference services, presents the concrete steps for difference services of client segmentation and emphasizes some issues which should be noted in the implementation, this way is very significant for Chinese commercial banks to enlarge and maintain their customers. |
