The Risk Management Of Mining Project Financing

Mining is greater difficult to project finance. Project financing model which have the"sheet financing"and"limited recourse"and other characteristics can be a very good solution to the problem of financing mining. The long duration, numerous participants and complex characteristics of project financing result in the importance of risk management. How to better project financing will be used in mining development, and we need to conduct in-depth study of risk management.In this paper, it has a more detailed study to the risk management of project financing on mining projects. It mainly analyses from the risk identification, risk assessment, risk control and deal to construct the risk management system which is suit for the mining project.This paper is discussed from the theoretical and empirical perspective. On the first, it analysis the relationship between the mining project development and risk management with the idea of systems analysis methods, and broadly analysis the risk manifestations of different projects Stage. This was followed by the construction of mining project finance risk management system: identify the risks of mining projects, including natural risks, political and legal risk, credit and financial risk, market risk, production risk, technology risk, completion risk and social risks. And then ,with this 8 risk to assess the overall project risk and in-depth analysis of specific risk. It uses AHP method to sort and in-depth analysis the specific risk. Based on risk assessment ,it formulates conclusions which is the risk control measures and the risk deal measures to project the effective risk management. In the last, it has an empirical analysis with an example of a coal project development in neimenggu, and gives lots of risk control and prevention measures. In all, this paper puts forward a series of effective measures for the future work related to the development of a basic mode and research ideas.
