The Method And Application Study On Site Selection For Logistics Park Using Case Study In Wuxi

Modern logistics industry in China is still in the start phase; the relevant basic facility, policy environment and the theory of logistics system are much behind than the developed countries. With the tide of upcoming massive city development and booming economy, accelerating modern logistics industry has been paid more and more attention by the market, company and government. It's meaningful that the reasonable site selection for regional logistics park can reduce logistics cost, optimize investment environment and activate the regional economy. This paper focus on the method and application study on site selection for Logistics Park in Wuxi which can be reference as logistics park site selection program in Wuxi.This paper collected economy figures, logistics quantity and current status logistics center in Wuxi within these few years, systematically discussed the relevant theory about regional logistics, researched the method for the predict of logistics quantity, the principle, basic measure and land using program, also this paper confirmed the key for the development of modern logistics in Wuxi, based on the key to make research on the site selection of the logistics park; meanwhile, regarding to the result of the predict of logistic quantity, the construction size of the logistics park can be decided; according to the knowledge of the development of modern logistics in Wuxi and take the advantage on drawing optimized measure to mark the main construct location for logistics company in the map; under the intersection of the suggested location from each logistics company, the range of location for the logistic park in Wuxi is initially assured; with the reference of AHP method, finally confirmed the location for the logistics park in Wuxi.In all, this paper will give a conclusion and prospect on site selection of Logistics Park in Wuxi...
