Promote Private Enterprise Clusters' Competitiveness Research

With the entry to WTO of China and trend of economic globalization, the industrial clusters not only promotes economy growth, but also strengthens the regional core competitiveness through its special exterior economy, innovation and proliferation and regional brand effect. The paper takes competitiveness of private enterprise clusters in QuanZhou as an example to do some research. Basing on the collection and reorganization of research results of domestic and foreign industrial clusters competitiveness, this paper further induces and elaborates concepts and characteristics of industrial clusters, competitiveness of industrial clusters and competitiveness of industrial clusters of private enterprises. Through the analysis of factors (dominant competitive power and the recessive competitive power) that influence competitiveness of industrial, it has basically constructed the evaluation system, the principle and the procedure of the industrial clusters competitiveness. Applying the life cycle theory in analyzing characteristics and rules in different developing phase of industrial clusters, this paper proposes some basic strategies and countermeasures of promoting competitiveness of industrial clusters of private enterprises in its various developing phases.This paper summaries the current layout and characteristics of industrial clusters' competitiveness of private enterprises in Quanzhou and comes up with a conclusion that industrial clusters of QuanZhou is at the growing and the maturing phrase. It points out the origin, the successful experience of its rapid development and current problems and new challenges of industrial clusters of Quanzhou private enterprises and proposes principles and specific strategies on promoting industrial clusters' competitiveness of private enterprises in Quanzhou, which is beneficial in Quanzhou industrial competitiveness, thus leads the development of local economy and promoting economy operating efficiency and local comprehensive competitiveness. This further consummates and fills the insufficiency in research of competitiveness of Quanzhou industrial clusters, providing a model for the area where industrial clusters haven't been formed.
