With the development over two centuries, government procurement has become an important measure for macro-control in modern market economy. The progress and increasing popularization of information technology have greatly promoted the modernization of government procurement. As a means of informatization construction, government e-procurement has incomparable advantages over the traditional way of government procurement. E-procurement can improve the economic profit of government procurement, reduce the integrated cost and enhance the transparency of procurement, which give equal opportunities to extensive potential providers. E-procurement also boosts the competition in the procurement market, which more clearly shows that the government attaches significance to market during its procurement, pursues economic profits and follows the four principles of probity, openness, equality as well as justice. In view of the global situations, it has been a trend to practice government e-procurement. As for China, we have been ready for the government e-procurement, which is the direction of our reform and development in government procurement, but we still encounter many problems. This thesis fist briefly analyses our government e-procurement and then by comparing with the foreign counterpart and combining our actual circumstances, proposes some thoughts and suggestions on the construction of our government e-procurement for others' reference to jointly impel it.
