This thesis also analyzed the pawn industry of developed countries such as UK, USA, Japan, and of developing countries such as Malaysia, Mexico, compared with that of China, and found out the advantages of pawn industry which could be utilized by China.This thesis analyzed the part that pawn industry plays in the social economic activities from the function and responsibilities of pawn in the economic society, according to the actual operation experience of pawn industry, analyzed the developing orientation of the pawn industry, and proposed the main opinions: Clarity of the feature of pawn industry, Optimization of legislation, Development of accounting system, Enhance of risk management, Development of specialized pawn and innovation according to the core competition of the enterprise, etc.Through the research and analysis, we should clarify the situation of the pawn industry that opportunities and challenges are existing at the same time. With the development of market economy and the optimization of the market system of China, Pawn industry will enter a new development period.
