A Study On American IT Enterprises Of The Environment Of Technological Innovation And Technology Licensing Strategies

The information technology (IT) enterprises in the United States play a leading role of technological innovation in the world. This thesis analyzed the environment of technological innovation of American IT enterprises through some case, considered the using of technology licensing strategies, and considered that how the technological innovation of American IT enterprises developed.At first, it was expatiated that the American government promoted the development of IT enterprises in technological innovation by the legal system and policies. This made a good macrocosm of technological innovation of American IT enterprises. And in this Part, the American government use patent system and the law of technology transfer and some others policies to promoted the development of IT enterprises in technological innovation. Then the thesis introduced the types of the American IT enterprises, and analyzed the two main kinds of styles of technical innovation types which exist in American IT enterprises. The thesis shows some cases about IBM and some other enterprises which produce information productions. Then the thesis considered a microcosmic environment of American IT enterprises. Thereafter, the thesis introduced some kinds of technology licensing strategies. And it was showed that which kinds of technology licensing strategies were used continually by different kinds of American IT enterprises. And the thesis showed some case about some American IT enterprises such as IBM, Cisco, high-Link, SUN, to consolidated the point of view.Finally, this thesis analyzed that if and how technology licensing strategies in American IT enterprises can promote the development of IT enterprises in technological innovation. The thesis considered how the development of IT enterprises in technological innovation can be promoted by technology licensing strategies by some cases.
