Study On Financial Support In The Upgrading Of Chinese Marine Industrial Structure

Since the beginning of reform and opening up, Chinese marine economy has got sustained, stable and rapid development, marine industries' output value and added value continuously increase, and marine regional economy continues to be optimized. The marine economy will become more important in the new economic growth points. Meanwhile, the process of marine economy's development is also a process of marine industrial structure's continuous adjustment and rationalization. At present, Chinese marine industries have formed a variety of marine industrial structure, the proportion of three marine industries is growing unisonous, marine industrial structure is becoming more rational. However, high-level of Chinese marine industrial structure is not satisfactory, the upgrading of marine industrial structure is badly needed.There are multi-layered reasons for the situation that Chinese marine industrial structure is still at a relatively early stage, among which, a critical factor is the financial "bottleneck". The upgrading process of Chinese marine industrial structure has been constrained by insufficient capital investment and limited financing circuits.Financial support plays a decisive role in the upgrading of the marine industrial structure. Therefore, this paper aims to study how to promote the upgrading of Chinese marine industrial structure by the deepening of financial support and search new ideas to maximize financial support in that. This study has not only a theoretical significance in building financial support system, but also a practical sense for optimizing Chinese maritime industrial structure and effective development and utilization of marine resources. For these reasons, this paper is to study financial support in the upgrading of Chinese marine industrial structure, four major parts as follows. The first part is this paper's theoretical foundation. In this part, industrial structure and its related concepts are clearly defined, and related theories about industrial structure and financial development are systematically reviewed. With regard to the review and conclusion of literatures and researches, the second part uses empirical data to analyze the level of Chinese marine industrial structure, and reaches to one conclusion, Chinese marine industrial structure is basically rational, but not advanced enough. The third part analyzes the influential factors of the upgrading of industrial structure and the relationship between financial support and the upgrading of industrial structure. Granger causality test of financial support and the upgrading of marine industrial structure reaches to another conclusion, financial support and the upgrading of marine industrial structure are obviously relevant in the short term in China. At last, analysis of choosing and developing financial pattern is continued. This part continues to compare bank-leading financial pattern and capital-leading one, analyze the current situation of finance market in China and the financing structure of marine industry, so as to choose and optimize financial pattern to support the upgrading of marine industrial structure. Moreover, on the base of feasibility analysis, this part points out that marine industrial cluster financing is a better choice to develop financial support in the upgrading of marine industrial structure.
