Research Of Industrial Development Strategy On Ethnic Minority Area In Southeastern Chongqing

The Ethnic Minority Area in Southeastern Chongqing(EMASC),which lies in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain area,is contiguous to Hubei province,Hunan province and Guizhou province.It is the most convenient over-land passage that Chongqing lead to Southeast coastland.The district concentrate minority,poverty,old and border region on it.It is the sole regional autonomy of minority nationality and the most backward district of Chongqing which is the municipality directly under the central government.It is also the district that Chongqing gives focal backing to in implementing the strategy of Western Great Development.But compared with the circumjacent areas,the development of the EMASC is still behindhand relatively,because of the heavy historical burden,the small economic scale,the poor foundation,the backward infrastructures,and the weak economic strength.All of these factors have directly affected the healthy development of the enterprises in the EMASC.So it is the vital task in the economic development of the EMASC and the major component of Chongqing's economic development how to cultivate pillar industries and construct the relevant industrial system,put sustainable development into effect according to the need of economic speedy development:,the self-advantage and the need of market.To development pillar industries have the local characteristics has been identified as an important way in promoting regional economy and competence.In this thesis,how to carry on industrial development strategy in the EMASC was researched.The thesis elaborated the theories system,evolving process,domestic and international research circumstance,the related concept about industrial development and pillar industries. The phenomenon of industrial development in our country was analyzed and described.This paper regards the EMASC as the research subject.According to the relevant theory of regional economics and development economics,and combining theory and practice,through empirical analysis on the statistical data of EMASC regional economy and social development fields,this paper analyzes the EMASC's foundation and current situation of industry development and analyzes and compares comprehensive competence of the economic development of the EMASC.Through a large number of real examples analysis,the author concretes and directs understanding to the economic development of Southeastern Chongqing ethnic minority area.Finally,regarding this as the foundation to actual conditions of the EMASC economic development,we combine theoretical direction,propose suggestion and measure economic development in the EMASC.The author believed that the EMASC should adopt sustainable industrial development strategy which take the pillar industry as the core,unifies own characteristic,strengthens the pillar industry cultivation vigorously,choose the characteristic sustainable industrial development path.As to method of industrial development,the government in EMASC should select government-leaded industrial development strategy at the early stage and gradually change to market-leaded one when its industry developed to certain level.As to line of industrial development,the EMASC should carry on three-stage-strategy:cultivating increase Poles—developing industry chains—forming industrial clusters.Based on local special industry development strategy,regional creative development strategy and sustainable development strategy.The EMASC can develop six pillar industries(Mineral resource processing industry,Energy product manufacturing,Characteristic ecological agriculture,Modern traditional Chinese medicine industry,Folk custom ecology tourism, Modern business logistics).In the process of industrial development,the EMASC should construct fine environment for industrial development to be able to get faster development with high quality and effectiveness.
