The Research On Conservation And Development Of Small Town In The Background Of Urbanization In Our Country

Nowadays, suburbanization and urbanization are the unavoidable problems for a society. We develop small towns in order to lighten the variety of pressure under rapid growth of population,lessen the living level between urban and rural and accelerate sustainable development.Urbanization in China has come into accelerating stage because of the leading policy"small town, grand problem", also because of the excessively high growth rate of GDP. Along with the rapid development, conservation of small town attracts more concern.Small town contains so much historic culture and humanities, conservation small town not only conserves current planning and design but also lays a solid foundation for a sustainable society.In the first chapter, the article proposes the importance of conservation in China and examples with"urban sprawl"theory, the author expounds the related research home and aboard; In the second chapter, based on some research and data, the author defines the necessary of urbanization and the concrete methods.The third chapter points out the problems, deficiencies and urgent works about the current conservation for domestic historic town; The forth chapter goes deep to analyse the importance of small town conservation; The forth chapter through the aspect of economy,ecology,planning,architecture,environment, reveals the progress of conservation small town and some methods.
