Analysis Of The Economic Influences Of Follow-up Industry Of Grain For Green In Pingquan County

Since the implementation of the project of grain for green, its follow-up industry has been paid great attention. Governments at all levels have provided preferential policies and conditions to promote local follow-up industry. The follow-up industry of the project of grain for green is very important to ecological balance, also to peasants living and rural economy. Thereby, it is necessary to study its state, development and economic influence. This paper carries out in-depth and detailed research to the case of Pingquan County in Hebei Province, on the basis of industry and economic theory.Firstly, this paper describes the development model, business model and features of follow-up industry of grain for green; Secondly, analyses its impact on the income of farmers in use of econometric models according to field survey datum. Analysis results show that the follow-up industry has strongly promoted farmers income. Thirdly, analyses impact on local economy, mainly from the total economy, industry and agriculture, employment. Finally, finds out the existing problems in the follow-up industry and puts forward some proposals to promote its development.
