The Research Of Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Of Chinese Commercial Bank

Banking is the most important part of the finance. It plays an significant role in the economy. Banking is challenged by the financial globalization in our country. The bank must develop its competitive ability in order to adapt the financial globalization environment. It is the most pressing problem that how to enhance the ability of competition.The bank comes with risks and they make money while they are controlling and managing the risks. The theory of risk management is the outcome from the developing of bank operation and people'recognition about financial risk. The level of risk management decides the achievement and fate of the bank. It has become the choke point that how to develop the ability of recognizing and resisting risk and how to resolve the formed risk.because of all those status , risk management has become enterprise-wide risk management(ERM).ERM is very important for the banking competitive central ability. ERM is guided by advanced risk management idea. Its cores are omnidirectional risk management system, all-sided risk management scope, full risk management process, bran-new risk management method, risk management culture of every worker. What risks are banks facing in our country? What is the reason for the risk? What are the problems and reasons for risk management? Why does the banking carry out enterprise-wide risk management(ERM)?What measures should be adopted to carry out enterprise-wide risk management? In nowadays, the commercial banks are facing bigger and bigger dangers. They must improve their level of risk management and it has become a more and more important topic. Therefore, in my thesis, I will analyze and expatiate these problems by the method of enterprise-wide risk management, use the foreign experience for reference, and then table a proposal to the commercial banks of our country.
