The value and significance of recreation spaces are obvious. Nowadays, taking leisure and tourism as a recreation is fashionable. It is reasonable that the recreation space is a synthetically cultural entironment in which people can feel civilization, merge into nature, understand culture and cultivate temperament.According to the theories of tourism geography and landscape ecology, the article applies the model of Patch-Corridor-Network to construct a framework of recreation landscape space in chengdu by combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. The content as follow:Section first: the summary of zone researched by the article. The article researches on Chengdu city (inside the Road Third around the city) that is a famous city for leisure and one of the most developed cities in western area of china. The article analyzes the Matrix of natural landscape, cultural landscape and economics in Chengdu. The article also applies the theory of tourism geography to analyze the location of origin, resource and transportationSection second: the analysis of recreation behaviors of citizens in chengdu. The author analyzes the results of survey in detail, including the demographic characteristics of sample, the leisure fashions of tourists during holiday, traveling fashions of tourists, the purpose and attitude of tourists, and concludes the general leisure behaviors of tourists and the differences of leisure behaviors in different tourists.Section third: the analysis of landscape ecology of tourism sites in chengdu. According to the standard of sorting landscape in city, the landscapes of tourism sites in chengdu are sorted five categories that include city park patch, historical site patch, cultural and scientific site patch, city leisure patch and happy farmhouse patch. According to the theory of landscape ecology, the author chooses 10 landscape indexes, for example fragmentation index and advantage index. The indexes are calculated, analyzed and compared by a series of programs of GIS.Section fourth: the integration of section second and section third to research the planning of landscape ecology. To analyze the patch of tourist sites, the behaviors of tourists and the distribution of tourism sites are combined.
