The Research On The Four Nongovernmental Trade Contracts Between China And Japan After World War Two

After the the founding of PRC, non-governmental intercommunication for economic activity was the key point, because there was no formal official foreign relationship between China and Japan. The four non-government trade agreements in 1950s had positive effect on the development of China-Japan relationship and China-Japan relationship formalization . "Any history is modern history",there was need to rediscuss every times owing to the difference of view angle and emphasis.This thesis tried to repaint one part of the China-Japan economy and trade relationship at that time by elementary research on four non-governmental trade agreements. In 1950s,China and Japan signed four non-governmental agreements for the effort of China government and Japan civilians.The different prime minister of Japan governments' different attitude to China make that different end took place. Though under the special history condition,the non-governmental intercommunication is not pure economic affairs but have political reasons.There is official intercommunication hurtle, civilians in advance take measures to try to start China-Japan relationship.After the founding of PRC,three non-governmental trade associations were founded .In a short period, China government also get ready to develop China-Japan trade.In 1950s ,four non-governmental trade agreements took place .Four agreements' content regulated that the business only can be operated by "goods versus goods" means. Except these,the contracts also shoud be operated by using the same type of goods.This maybe decrease the possibility of operating foreign trade business .because though two parts need to import and export goods ,but the goods were in different type,the business will not occur.Though four non-governmental agreements could not directly make China and Japan found governmental diplomatic relationship, in a certain extent, enhance the trade turnover between two countries and also lay a base for founding bilateral diplomatic relationship in the future. At the same time, they also help our country to establish the diplomatic policy that use non-governmental relationship to facilitate country-country governmental relationship; use economic relationship to facilitate country-country other section relationship even country-country complete diplomatic relationship.
