This paper is based on common competition strategy, analysis of the character of the wireless mobile communication terminal industry, study of the M company's competition environment, and the author's understanding and several years' experience in the wireless mobile terminal industry. The author tries to strategically think on competition strategy for M company Wireless Mobile Terminal Division (WMTD) and make this paper a reference for the development of the M company.In this paper, the author uses related competition strategy theories. Current international and domestic competition situation and the macro-economical environment, and related national policies are analysed. The industry structure of the target market is analyzed using Porter's competition power model.It is concluded this is a keen competitive and attractive market.Through internal analysis, it is pointed out that M company is running smoothly, and has the healthy financial state, outstanding R&D ability.advanced equipment and weak marketing.Based on analysis of its competitors, M company's strength and weakness are concluded. Opportunity and threat in the target market are analyzed, SWOT model is constructed.In terms of the analysis results and the facts of M company, Corresponding strategies are given.The conclusion about researching of the paper is that M company selects overall cost leadership strategy and differentiation strategy. Differentiation helps to enter the markets and overall cost leadership helps to own the markets.It is hoped that the paper can be a solution reference for M company to utilize reasonable market competition and strategy to participate the market competition in China and in the global market.
