The Present Status Of The Private Economy In Ningbo And Its Impact To The Ningbo Economy.

Since the implementation of the policy of reform and opening up to the outside world, China's private economy has obtained a new life, and occupied a place in the national economy by virtue of its advantages of rapid development and continuous expansion. From being prohibited before reform to being a supplement of socialist public ownership in the initial period of the reform, up to now, private economy is a major component of the socialist market economy, which plays a more and more important role in Chinese economy. China's entry into the WTO means that China's economy will be operated in accordance with the general regulations of developed countries' market economy, and will gradually eliminate the various drawbacks left in the planned economy age. The conditions entirely according to the market economic basic principles enable the private economy to gain good external environment, which will undoubtedly bring new opportunities to private economy.Zhejiang Province is one of relatively developed private economic areas in China, so is Ningbo in particular. This paper takes the private economy in Ningbo for instance, and introduces its development and present status, as well as its contribution to the development of Ningbo. Focusing on the spatial angle, the paper displays the spatial distributions and changes of private economy and its causes by analyzing the related data from the year 1996 to 2002. On writing this paper, the author want to conclude some rules and experience on spatial development of private economy, and then assists with other regions' private economies.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter defines the connected concepts, and introduces the background of the topic and the involved studies of the domestic and foreign academic circles, as well as the structure of the article. The second chapter elaborates the developing progress and present situation of Ningbo's private economy, and mainly focuses on analyzing its effect on the economic development of Ningbo. The third chapter is about the industrial constitution and changes of private economy, and the reasons of its formation as well. The fourth chapter is the most important part of this article. It introduces the distributional differences of private economies in Ningbo through the data statistics, and explains its causes. The fifth chapter summarizes the study of the article and the obtainments.
