Comparative Study On The Degree Of Urban Land Intensive Utilization In The Yangtze Delta

With the rapid development of industrialization, urbanization and modernization, shortage of land has been the key in the economic development of the Region of Yangtze River Delta. In certain degree, land problem limit the economic development of the Region of Yangtze River Delta. Discussion about urban land intensively utilizing appraise and enhancing the efficiency of urban land use are beneficial to the urban land resources optimal allocation and rational utilization. That will promote the transformation of the city land use from extensional extend to the combination of extensional extend and expanding connotation. In addition, that will make the limited land resources to develop the larger benefit.Depending on the research of theory and method of urban land intensively utilizing in china and abroad, the text defined the concept and connotation of urban land intensively utilizing from the aspect of the macroscopic. In the view of influence on urban land intensively utilizing factors, it chose four factors including land input level, land use efficiency, land use degree and land eco-environmental quality. Then, an evaluating index system is established for urban land intensively utilizing within the research area. Consequently, we applied information entropy method for determining the weight and quantized urban land intensively utilizing level by using efficacy function.By choosing 16 main cities in Yangtze Delta Area as our research object, we made land utilization intensively evaluation adapting to many cities in Yangtze Delta Area. Based on the characteristics of urban land use in Yangtze Delta Area, land intensive utilization about 16 cities were evaluated by using four elements, eleven factors. The text computed urban land use intensity via index quantification and calculation, while compared land intensive utilization level of main cities in Yangtze Delta Area. Then, it found difference of Land Intensive Utilization level between each city and analyzed its causes and the land administration system. At last, some suggestions were put forward to improving urban land intensive utilization.
