The handset industry is such an industry which changes with each passing day. The technology, sales mode and the needs of consumers about the handset have being changing all the time. So, how to hold the different changes and reasonably forecast the handset sale of the different sales mode, sales market and sales channel becomes the most important and difficult problem.Firstly, this paper analyzed international and Chinese handset industry, and then it expatiated the characteristics and trend of mobile industry. Secondly, the author summarized the key problems such as influence factors, date accumulating, united forecasting of the company inside and outside and forecasting evaluation which the handset sale forecasting are facing. Lastly, through analyzing the handset sale forecasting of the W Co., found the problems in the W Co., Besides, integrating scientific management theory and practical experience, the author gives the constructive solutions. And author comprehensively analyzed the sale forecasting of W Co., from four aspects such as forecasting management system, sale forecasting methods, forecasting effect evaluation and forecasting date using.This paper has used the research method which combining theory and practice, based on large volume of data and cases, using related theories in marketing and statistics, combing mesurable forecasting and qualitative forecasting. Although this paper took the W Co. as its research object, the methods of sale forecasting had a certain reference value to similar enterprises. In China little Co. could use the scientific sale forecasting by the numbers, so this text has practical meaning.
