Human resource is becoming an essential and rare resource for the society with the socioeconomic development. The competition among corporations actually turns to be the competitions among talents. After the entry into WTO, competition between Sino companies and abroad companies focuses on bidding for talents in the backdrop of financial globalization and economic unification, and many companies begin to pay attention to the Job Satisfaction. Based on the review of researches into job satisfaction home and abroad, hypothesizes are raised and to a certain degree tested. In chapter 2, connotations and relevant theories concerning Job Satisfaction are concluded and on which basis, this paper defines Job Satisfaction for this research and compares some typical models on Job Satisfaction. The third chapter generalizes academic achievements in Job Satisfaction home and abroad, and summarizes the factors affecting Job Satisfaction mentioned in these literatures into two tables. Based on survey in previous two chapters, chapter four divides the influence factors for Job Satisfaction into three dimensions: situation variables, demographic variables and mood variables. Combining analysis of several existing models, this paper proposes two hypotheses: Hypothesis 1(H1): situation variables and Job Satisfaction are positively correlated; Hypothesis 2(H2): employees with different personal characteristics are different in their attention to situation variables. In the fifth chapter, an interview questionnaire is designed based on the two hypotheses proposed above and put it into use for the research into Job Satisfaction of employees in Company Z. By means of half-structured interview and factor analysis, the influence factors of Job Satisfaction are collected and revised according to the requirement of the research, which are made up of 6 situation variables of company management, job achievement, interpersonal relationship, working compensation, job itself and working environment. In the course of the quantitative study, the situation variables are regarded as independent variables, the demographic variables as control variables and the Job Satisfaction as a dependent variable. Then, the author drew up a questionnaire to investigate the Job Satisfaction of company Z's employees. With the correlation analysis and the regression analysis the study comes to the conclusions as follows:(1) The situation variables which describe the Job Characteristics have positive effect on Job Satisfaction, so, the situation variables do influence Job Satisfaction, rational job design and management will help to upgrade the Job Satisfaction.(2) Some of the demographic variables have significant influence on the situation variables, so different department should formulate different policy to enhance the Job Satisfaction.(3) The key factor that influences the Job Satisfaction of company Z's employees is company management, and the urgent task on hand for company Z is consummating the train system and the promotion system. In the course of practical research, it was found that level of job satisfaction among employees in Company Z need to be raised. Measures and suggestions are given according to specific situations in Company Z, as meaningful reference to improve its HRM system further.
