This paper researches historical evolution, the main content,character and the state of being observed in practice of the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits. The arrangement had once been revised. The latest version of 2005 had improved the main content, such as Repayment Terms, Minimum Interest Rates, Minimum Premium and so on. The arrangement has become international practice and an important international agreement in the field of export credits. What's more, in accordance with Annex 1 of Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures, Illustrative List of Export Subsidies, the export credit conforming to the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits of OECD is not prohibited by the agreement. So in the long term, the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits might be in the WTO Agreement.We have entered the WTO, so we must take part in international economic activities and open up the international market according to the international practices. Export credit has great practical meaning for the increasing of export and strengthening of international competing abilities for a country, so it is important for a country to establish and consummate an effective export credit system. After the development of these years, we have established our own export credit system, but many remain to be perfected. Therefore, this paper investigates the existing problems and brings forward some advices to consummate our export credit system.
