The developed countries'economic development shows that theadjustment of industrial structure is the key to develop economy. Industrialstructure is an essential part in the economic structure and its adjustmentplays an important role in the progress of economic development. Therefore,making sure the industrial structure to be scientific and suitable is animportant way to develop a nation or a region's economy. The economydevelops rapidly in peripheral zone of Bohai Sea and it would be the thirdeconomic polar of China. But with some restriction factor, especially theindustrial structure duplication of this zone, the economic development ofthiszoneisrestricted.Firstly, this article gives the background, significance, current researchsituation, method and main content of this research; Then, this essay showscorrelative theory of the industrial structure duplication. Analyzing theproblems on the industrial structure in Peripheral Zone of Bohai Sea withstructure similar coefficient and product specialization and structuring thelevel of interlocal division. This article uses the method of CompositionalData Analysis to make a prediction on the trend of industrial structureduplication in Peripheral Zone of Bohai Sea. It also points out the reason aswell as the adverse effect of industrial structure duplication. Based on these,this article puts forward the methods of avoiding industrial structureduplication.
