With the high development of world economy, the demand of oil is increasing all the time. However, compared with the forceful demand, reserves of oil resources in the world are less and less. Shengtuo oilfield as the main production block of Shengli oilfield, the second largest in the country, has experienced the oil extraction phrases of lowly containing water, moderately containing water and highly containing water since put into production in 1965 June and developed in 1967 July. Recently, ratio of water compared with oil is more and more larger, economic benefits of extraction are reduced little by little, most residual oilfields are thinner in effective thickness, and difficult to be exploited. Under this condition, it is a realistic problem for enterprise to choose the best artificial lift method and obtain more economic benefits. Therefore, it is necessary to research optimized option of artificial lift methods.This thesis researches the problem mainly from the following aspects. The first part is the preface which introduces the background, goal and significance, actual research condition both home and aboard, the way of thinking and the creativity. The second part simply introduces the working principles, advantages and disadvantages and scope of application of each artificial lift method, which is the theoretic basis to choose the reasons for technical evaluation and analyses the present situation of management in order to point out the necessity of this research. The third part analyses all kinds of reasons that affect the result of artificial lift, establishes system of appraisal indexes and makes weighting for each reason by AHP and method of scoring by experts so as to choose two workable artificial lift methods in technology. The fourth part brings DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) into the evaluation of technical project,and establishes the evaluation model of artificial lift methods'comprehensive economic benefits which helps choose the most suitable artificial lift method for Shengtuo oilfield. The last part makes a conclusion that presents the method and fruit of this research and problems to be resolved.
