Research On The International Competence Of Chinese Petroleum Industry

With the development of economic globalization and the interior and outerenvironment changes during the five years since China acceded in WTO, Chinesepetroleum industry as global competitive industry, faces more fierce competition. Onehand, worldwide foreign oil enterprises are interested in our country-the largest oilconsumed country. The other hand, our oil enterprises are on the road to overseadevelopment. Under this new condition, how to improve the international competence ofChinesepetroleumindustry,isworthtomakefurtherresearch.In order to reveal the international competence of Chinese petroleum industry, thispaper has made some research as follow: based on international competence theories;fromindustrial aspect, include global oil supplyand demand state, competitive feature ofpetroleumindustryandinteriorandouterenvironmentofChinesepetroleumindustry;According to Port's"diamond model", we have researched on the six factors, whichaffecttheinternationalcompetenceofChinesepetroleumindustry;accordingtoWEFandIMD, we made a set of index, which be used to compare the international competence ofChinese petroleum corporations with foreign corporations, to find out its advantages anddisadvantages; put forward some strategic actions, such as scale economy strategy, technical innovation strategy, strategic cost management, humane resource full utilizingand continuous development strategy.
